Uncharted Roleplay.

RULES & GUIDELINES.

RP is mainly about having fun, but there are a handful of things everybody participating should keep in mind if we want it to stay fun.

1. NO GODMODDING.
This is pretty standard, and it won’t be tolerated. It causes too many headaches and everybody gets upset.

2. KNOW YOUR CHARACTER.
Again, standard. Before you decide to participate, make sure you’re on familiar ground with whomever you’re playing - as well as the Uncharted games themselves. Not everything is strictly canon, but you need context. We like to keep our characters as accurate as possible.

3. USE PROPER GRAMMAR.
We don’t mind if you use lower-case letters. It’s more like, know the difference between “your” and “you’re” and do not be afraid of punctuation. Use full sentences, not point form. Our style of RP is, by and large, dialogue-based; look at it like you’re sending text messages. So no actions within asterisks, or anything like that.

4. COMMUNICATE.
Seriously, don’t be afraid to talk to the other players. If someone/something is upsetting you, if you have any questions or suggestions or you just need clarification on something, send a message. We’re all nice people. (Keeping the lines of communication open is especially important when plotting, since it’s obviously imperative that everybody involved in the plot is on the same page.) Don’t be shy. :)

5. STAY ACTIVE!
We’re not expecting anybody to spam the dashboard with a hundred posts a day. We just expect you to be online regularly. Life does get in the way, and that’s completely understandable - if you can, let us know when/if you’ll be away for more than a week at a time. We just like to keep things moving forward. So stay as active as you can, and try to interact with everybody.
